Hope everyone is having a wonderful day filled with love from all of your loved ones. The weather is amazing! 80 degrees in February! I love living in California.

Presley is rolling over! She rolled over for the first time when she was three months, but I think that was just a fluke because she didn't do it again until last night! She rolled over 3 times, yay! She is getting so big. She has joined the nursery at church on Sunday mornings so that mom can finally sit through a service and not just hear the message, but actually listen to it. It has been so great. Presley and I start MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) on Tuesday. I am very excited to hang out with some other moms. My sister-in-law Valerie will be there and so will my friend Kristi. I just hope Presley does well in the nursery. It's almost 3 hours!

Today I have just been overwhelmed with the blessings in my life. I truly did marry the love of my life, soul mate, best friend, etc. Todd makes me laugh everyday and really does take care of me, in so many ways. I know that one of his main goals in life is to make sure that I am happy at ALL TIMES. He is also so helpful with our little girl. He really is so supportive and will always help me when I need him.

My family is amazing. My parents, sister, in-laws, extended family, everyone of them. I realize more and more how rare it is to have a healthy (both mentally and physically), honest, supportive and fun loving family.

My friends are really my extended family. My roommates (Sherwood girls), Bible study girls, church friends, dance friends, old friends, and new friends enrich my life so much and bring me more joy than I thought possible.

And last but not least my beautiful baby girl Presley. She is the light of my life. I love her so much I feel like my heart is just going to burst! I am the mother of a healthy, thriving, happy baby. Praise God!

Over the hump?

Well it's been two weeks since the beginning of Presley's nursing strike. Yesterday for the first time since then I sat on the couch and she ate! Whoopee! I hope that this means she is returning to normal. I feel like we are getting somewhat back to our regular routine after two weeks of tears (on both of our parts), and changes.

My mom says the only thing you can count on from a baby is unpredictability. Just when you think you've got them figured out they flip the switch on you.

She is so active and I know is very smart because she just loves to be talked to and played with, she relishes the interaction. This is so cute and fun, but very exhausting. She will play by herself but not for long!

Being Prelsey's mommy is so wonderful, challenging, fun, tiring (make that exhausting), and ever changing! Our gorgeous girl is now 3 months and 12 days. It is so strange how the time flies, and yet it feels like we came home from the hospital years ago!

Presley is such a joyful baby, she is active and is now so aware of her surroundings. This past week however we have encountered what I came to find out as a "nursing strike". Starting on Tuesday she would go to nurse and then after a minute pull away and cry, and then sometimes would refuse to even latch on. What! Since day 1 Presley has been a champ at nursing. Eating about every three hours and finishing a feeding in usually 10 minutes. Well after some researching I found out a nursing strike can happen when there is a change in routine or in a babies surroundings (among other things). Monday was her first night in her crib, so I think that that is what is causing all of this. VERY FRUSTRATING. However, a few things will help: nursing her after a nap when she is still drowsy, and standing and swaying while feeding her. That one is unusual since I always feed her on the couch.

Well, this is only suppose to last a few days so here's hoping it ends soon!

It's hard to believe that one month ago today Todd and I were in our hospital room holding our new baby girl! The time has really flown by. I can honestly say that next to my husband of course Presley is the love of my life! I have so much love for her it's amazing. Everyone says that your whole life changes when you have a baby, and boy are they right. I never thought of myself as a selfish person, but once you have a baby it is amazing how everything that seemed to be important before takes a back seat. And I wouldn't have it any other way!

She has changed so much in the past month. She has more and more awake time which is fun. The first couple weeks all she did was sleep! She can follow us with her eyes which is so cool. Now I know she can definitely see me :)

Well looks like we will be meeting Miss Presley on Tuesday Oct. 6th! How do I know? Because the little rascal is breech! This is definitely not how I thought this experience would be, but through this past year God has for sure taught me that I am not in control! I am very anxious and can't wait to me meet my little girl :)

Well, we are rapidly approaching the debut of one Miss Presley Charlotte Coogan. I've got a little less than four weeks to go (hopefully). I am pretty uncomfortable most of the time, and am really looking forward to meeting the little one that has been growing inside of me for the last 9 months.

Well today marked the beginning of my 34th week of pregnancy. I celebrated by having a baby shower! Today I got to hang out with all my friends and talk about my favorite little girl...Presley! Last week my mom threw me a wonderful shower with all my family. Presley is already spoiled. She has more clothes than I know what to do with! Not a bad problem to have for a little girl :)

Well as of tomorrow I will be 30 weeks! The time really has flown by. It seems like just yesterday I took the pregnancy test with the faintest little second line.

The hot weather has been kicking my butt! Carrying around about 25 extra pounds 24/7 in 90 degree weather is not very fun. I'm glad Presley will be born in October, but unfortunately that meant being pregnant in the summer. Thank God for air conditioning!

Baby's room is coming along great. I stuck with the purple and green walls and found a really cute bedding pattern in brown and green paisley. We have her dresser/changing table all together and are just waiting for the crib to arrive, I can't wait!!!

Thank goodness it is finally looking like it's summer outside, I was worried there for a bit. This pic was taken on Father's Day after our two families had brunch together at the Clubhouse. It was so good!

I am 24 weeks now which I think puts me at almost 6 months. I don't know, two of my books say different things. I am feeling really great, still pretty tired sometimes. Presley kicks like crazy which is so cool! We're starting to get the room together. Problem is I can't make up my mind on what I want it to look like. We painted the walls but not I'm thinking I want to change them. Todd is so patient with me...

Well Kauai was amazing! It was so much fun hanging out with the old roommates all week and Becky and Noah's wedding was gorgeous. Friday and Saturday were spent doing bachelorette fun and helping out with wedding stuff. The wedding was Sunday night at 5 and the weather was perfect! No rain and not too hot. The site was beautiful, so green. The rest of the week was spent going to beaches and exploring the island. Being 5 months pregnant and in hot and humid weather I was really tired most of the time, but I hung in there and had a blast! Check my facebook soon for pictures.

Todd and I went to my ultrasound yesterday, where we found out that we are having a girl! I was so excited and a little surprised, I thought I was having a boy. Well just goes to show you that we can guess all we want but God's the only one that knows. So after about 45 min. of goop on my belly we got some great pictures of Presley. We don't have a scanner so I will have to put them up later.

I'm leaving for Kauai next week to be in Becky's wedding. I can't believe how fast time is flying. I'm so excited, but a little bummed I have to leave by baby daddy behind :)

18 weeks and counting.

Well I am 18 weeks along (4 1/2 months) and feeling pretty good. I'm in between clothes now which is frustrating. My regular clothes are too small, but most maternity stuff is too big. Oh well, I know I'll be fitting into those tops before you know it. We go for our ultrasound next week so hopefully we will find out the sex of the baby then. The polls are about half and half now. Most of the family thinks it's a boy and friends think it's a girl. I go back and forth, who knows!

In two weeks I'll be going to Kauai in be in my old roommates wedding. Nicole, Jessica, and Sara are all bridesmaids so we are flying out for the week of the wedding. I'm so excited! Baby's first trip to Hawaii! Too bad Todd can't come. All the husbands are staying home, so it's just us girls. Hope we don't go too crazy!

He is risen! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I danced with His Grace this morning at Florence Ave. Foursquare Church and then headed off to my parents house where the whole Landon clan was gathered. So much fun. I didn't find the most eggs, I didn't find the Bonanza egg (the golden egg), and I didn't win at croquet. Oh well, still a blast. Todd was on worship this morning at church and then after three services went straight to work for brunch at the Clubhouse. He is just getting home now...time for pizza and relaxing on the couch with Delilah!

Todd and I are pregnant! I am 10 weeks now and have a baby the size of a grape growing inside of me. It is so crazy to say that! We heard the heart beat last Thursday which was truly amazing. I don't feel too sick, just when I don't eat enough. So I'm eating all the time (what's new). I've been really tired, but over that past few days have had more energy. Todd and I took a vacation to Phoenix with his parents this past week which was really fun and relaxing. Todd played golf everyday! So we are so excited to have our little one here by Oct. 10th!

February Went By Fast!

I can't believe that February is almost over. I have been teaching at Lighthouse in Irvine for six weeks now, and it is going really well. It was challenging at first teaching beginners but they are learning fast and really improving. The Clubhouse is slow for now but will start picking up next month. It's been so nice having Todd home at night, but I guess that will be all over soon. We will be taking a vacation to Phoenix, AZ second week of March for a little down time and golf (for Todd). I'll come back with pictures!

Well the New Year is upon us. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. There are already changes this year and it is only day 2! I will now be teaching dance exclusively. I am so excited because this is something that I have wanted for a long time. I will be teaching at Lovett Dance Center in Irvine with their Lighthouse program. I will be teaching Christan lyrical classes for ages 5 and up. I will start teaching there Wednesdays and Fridays beginning on the 14th. This means that I will be leaving Shenandoah. I have worked at this restaurant for almost 10 years! It was my first job when I was 16 and I have loved working there. I have not always loved being a server, but the people I work for and with are really like family to me and Todd. At the time of our engagement we were both working there, and I am sad to leave. Todd is still at the Anaheim Hills Clubhouse and as with all hospitality companies they are hurting with the economy the way it is. January-March are always slow months, but this season it is especially so. But, hey at least he still gets to golf for free! Hope everyone is having a great New Year and that the Lord will bless you in 2009!

Well Christmas is almost here and I have been totally lagging on my blogging. I was in Italy at the beginning of November and had an awesome time. I'm really starting to miss it there. On Sunday, October 5th, at 2:52pm one of my best friends gave birth to a little girl! Meet Addison Rae Luther, 6lbs. 13oz 19in. long. She is such a little cutie! I got the call Sunday morning that Emily and Scott checked into the hospital really early that morning and when I got to the hospital at noon it looked like it could still be awhile. Wrong! She had her three hours later! Emily and Scott are so happy to finally have their little girl here. God is so faithful!

I have now decorated my house for fall. These are my favorite decorations because you can leave them up for almost 3 months. Problem is most of my fall decorations are some kind of candle holder, so I now have candles all over my house in varying shades of orange! Oh, well it looks festive and the place smells good. I am so excited to be leaving for Italy one month from tomorrow which means that my birthday is one month from today! I will be the big 25. Toddy's birthday comes up on the 14th and he'll be 26. One of my best friends, Emily, is about to have a baby! She will hopefully have baby Addison Rae Luther before the weekend is over. Pictures will be posted soon!

Labor Day, teaching, and oh yeah football.

We spent Labor Day at Todd's parents house, just swimming and eating. It was quite a relaxing day. I started teaching again this week and so far all my students are great and I love my classes. I'm going to try and take more classes myself, hopfully I will be disciplined enough to do it on a regular basis. Todd's work is slowing down a litte bit with wedding season coming to a close. Probably the most important thing happening right now is football! That's right folks it's my least favorite time of the year. Todd loves footabll and has to Fantasy leauges so he loves this time of year. One of my best friends Emily Luther had another baby shower yesterday and our friends Aram and Carlah got married at the Mission Inn, it was beautiful!!! A crazy weekend, but always fun.

This summer has been great. We were able to take a couple vacations, a cruise to Mexico and then a weekend in Palm Desert. Sara and Brandon go married! The wedding and whole experience was great. It's been great being off from teaching dance but I'm so glad to be starting up again on Tuesday. Todd has been playing a lot of golf, of course. My sister Caroline is in Italy for four months and I miss her so much, she's only been gone two weeks! She has some great pictures on her myspace if you can check them out. Todd and I are just wonderful and enjoying the beginning of our third year of marriage. We are excited for fall because that means our birthdays are coming!

So far our summer has been great. It has been soooo hot lately and we are hoping that it will cool down soon, can't keep running the air the way we are. I'm getting ready for the CTV show on July 12th and 13th. It's getting to be a little frustrating because some of the students (and parents) just aren't taking the rehearsal time seriously. And of course there are the injuries that are happening all over the place. Our friends Sara and Brandon are getting married is less than two months, very exciting! I've had my braces on for 5 months now. Can I get them off now? Nope, I've got more than a year to go, lame. We love hanging out with Delilah and just lounging together at home when we have the time. In just five weeks we will have been married 2 years! No plans yet. Probably just dinner since we just took a cruise last month. For now we are just trying to stay cool and enjoy summer. Cheers!

We Love Vacation, and Baby Paige!

Our cruise was so much fun! We ate A LOT, relaxed, watched the shows (the dancers were alright :), walked around in Cabo, and discovered our new favorite movie: Enchanted! When we got back to San Diego we went to the Zoo and saw the whole thing! It was really fun. Then later that night we went to SOMA to see The Used. It was an amazing show, and I survived right in front. Even though we had a blast we are glad to be home because we missed Delilah so much!

We also have a new niece! Paige Lorraine Evans was born April 28th, at 7:29pm. She is so beautiful and we love being her aunt and uncle.

Oh my gosh it was so hot this weekend, thank goodness it has cooled off today. My trip to Canada with His Grace Dance Ministry was awesome. We were able to really minister and worship the Lord through our dance performance. We were so blessed by all of the women there, the experience was great! The weekend before Todd and I went to Laughlin with our friends Carlah and Aram. It was great fun just relaxing and laying out by the river. The next few weeks will be busy for both of us. The Clubhouse is definitely starting get really busy agian with wedding season in full swing. I am working on choreography for CTV's show in July and will hopefully finish soon! Shenandoah is getting busy again also with the weather warming up, yay! First week in may we are off on a cruise to Cabo and Ensenada. We will be on the same ship we were for our anivesary but instead of a 3 day cruise we will be doing a 5 day. We leave from San Diego and when we come back we are planning on going to the San Diego Zoo and then a Used concert at night. Can't wait!

We have now been in our new place almost a month and we really like it! I got my washer and dryer two weeks ago and I love doing laundry. I'm sure that will wear off soon though. Life has been busy but good for both of us. His Grace has kept me dancing a lot with two conferences in the past two weekends, Easter coming up, and hopefully Canada at the beginning of April. I passed my CBEST test so I will start substitute teaching soon. Todd's work is good, busy as usual. We are looking forward to spring and longer days so that we can enjoy our patio at night!

We are moving! We found a two bedroom, one bath condo for rent in Anaheim, with...wait for it....washer and dryer hookups! I could not be more excited to finally have my own washer and dryer. It's on the bottom floor with no one ubove us and only one shared wall. It's a little bigger than our place know which is great because we have definitely out grown our apartment. We get our keys on Feb. 8th and will spend that week painting and then move in the following week. In other big news I got braces! I'm on day 3, only 545 more to go. My mouth is sore and it's hard to eat, but hopefull I will get used to them soon. :)

Hope everyones New Year's is going fantanstic! Our new year has proved pretty mellow. Todd's work is slowing down which means more time for golf. I am teaching again and have started back with His Grace. We have a lot of dates coming up so I will post any shows that we are doing in the area. Delilah is doing so well! She has a ton of energy and runs and jumps all over the house. She now weighs a whopping 3.12pounds! We are looking to move in April so if anyone finds a two bedroom condo for rent let us know!

Well Christmas is almost here, YAY! Our house is all decorated and the tree is up with most of the presents under it. Now comes the waiting. Both Todd and I are busy right now. Todd is busy at work with all the holiday parties and such. He's also working on all the Christmas music for church which is pretty time comsuming. I'll be dancing for the next two weekend with His Grace and I'm very glad to be dancing again at Christmas time. After dancing every Christmas for the past ten years it was weird to not be performing last year, but now I'm back! Biggest news for us is that we got a kitten! We rescued her about a month ago. Her name is Delilah and she is full of energy. She darts and hops around the apartment all day long, and when she's not doing that she sleeps on my jeans. Well we hope that everyone has a safe and wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Oh my gosh it is soooo windy right now! This weather is crazy. Todd's birthday was last week on the 14th and we had a lot of fun! We went to see the Flecktones on the Wednesday before and got to see Victor "Freaking" Wooten on the bass (that's the guy in the picture with Todd). On his actual birthday we just watched football all day and then dinner at night. He got lots of great stuff including a new golf club from me. Now my birthday is next, mark your calenders November 1st!

Fall is in full swing now and that means one of Kate's favorite pastimes, decorating the apartment with pumpkins and other mostly orange decorations. It also means that Todd and Kate's birthdays are coming up! Todd kind of already got his presents, tickets to Bela Fleck and The Flecktones and a new sandwedge (golf club). I am hoping for an ipod. I'm pretty busy teaching ballet, dancing with His Grace Dance Ministry, and weekends at the restaurant. Todd is slowing down a bit and that means more golf!

The End of Summer

This summer was so much fun for us, but now it's time to get back in the swing of things. I have returned to teaching ballet at Catch the Vision. I teach in both Yorba Linda and La Habra. The Yorba Linda studio is still in need of more students seeing as this is just it's second year and the word is still getting out that we are here. Please pray for more sudents! Todd's work at the clubhouse is starting to slow down a bit since wedding season is coming to a close. It will be nice to have him home more often so that we can watch football (ha ha) and play Guitar Hero II. We are really looking forward to fall because that means that both of our birthdays are coming up! Todd is turning the big 25 so that means we'll have to celebrate big!

Married for Over One Year!

Todd and I celebrated our one year anniversary by taking a three day cruise to Ensenada. Todd surprised me and I was totally not expecting this. It was so much fun! We left from Long Beach on Friday and spent all day Saturday in Ensenada which was fun. We walked around and did some window shopping. Sunday we were out to sea all day, so we just relaxed by the pool, went to the casino and ate! We came home on Monday and now we are so excited to see what our second year of marriage holds for us. It would be hard to top the first one!

So much has happened since the last post, I can't believe it! Todd got promoted to General Manager of the Anaheim Hills Clubhouse, so he runs the place now. I am such a proud wife. I graduated, and now I am getting ready for Catch the Visions shows July 14th and 15th. Our friends Jessica and Joel are getting married in a few weeks which is so exciting. Also our one year anniversary is coming up August 5th. Some people say that the first year is the hardest, but it was honestly the best year of my life. In the past year I felt more joy than I ever thought possible, not to mention laughing more too. Our first year has been totally amazing! We can't wait to celebrate and enjoy the rest of the summer.

I finally graduated on Thursday, May 31st from Cal State Long Beach. I'm sooo glad that I have my degree now. The day was so much fun/long/hot. The next day Toddy and I went to Palm Desert with our Young & Married small group. It was super fun! We just relaxed and lounged by the pool most of the time. It was a much needed mini vacation for both of us. On Monday Todd's sister Valerie performed "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during the 7th inning stretch at the Angel game. To top it off the Angels beat the Twins 16-2 and the Ducks beat Ottowa and now the series is 3-1, Ducks. They are so going to win the Stanley Cup!

Busy is the Name of the Game

It's been a month since I posted anything, and well not a whole lot has changed. I graduate in two weeks and am totally stressing out about finals next week. I just can't wait till it's all over! My choreography is finally almost finished but my students are looking soooo messy I'm worried that come show time they won't pull it together. Todd is super busy at work because there has been a lot of "cleaning house" I guess you could say with regards to employees. There has been some hiring and firing and Todd is busy training all the new people. Hopefully a month from now his schedule will be back to normal and he won't be working 12 hour days six days a week. We are so looking forward to summer!

Well spring break was way too short with not enough relaxation, but was still fun. Todd and I went to 3 Angel games, and they won all three!! They've lost a couple now but are still the best baseball team ever. School is so overwhelming right now, but it helps to know that it will all be over soon. I graduate on May 31st with my degree in Liberal Studies and my concentration in Human Development. I am so excited and Todd is so proud :) Todd got a promotion at work and is now Assistant General Manager (not assistant to the general manager for you office fans) Todd is also really busy being the new worship leader at RCC, but is totally enjoying it. We are so happy that we are married because even though we are busy we still have so much fun together and it makes everything a lot less stressful!

Why did I ever start trying to clean/organize our closet? The closet looks great (you can actually open the door now) but it seems that all the mess that was in there is now in small piles throughout our house. I feel even more disorganized than before. Ahhhh! Well hopefully I will be able to get the apartment in some sort of order over the weekend. Note to self, don't try to ever clean out the closet again :)

Coogan Update

Well things are pretty busy for Todd and me right now. Busy but good. I feel like there just aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done right now. School is in full swing and every week I have some big paper or test. I think I'm doing well so far, but its hard to find time to do all the work I need to. This years show at Catch the Vision is called "Holy Visitation". I have six different dances to choreograph and it seems like everything is starting to look the same! Work and Shenandoah is going really well. Even though it's winter it seems that we are still busy and I making good money on the weekends. Praise God! Todd is so happy with his work right now. He loves working there and really feels like things are going well. It seems that there will be some major changes soon, so he's excited to see what happens. That's us for now!

Well I never thought that Toddy and I would have a blog, but here it is! I figure it's a great opportunity for us to keep in touch with people and for our friends and family to see what's new with us. We are just enjoying live being newlyweds (married six months now) and having so much fun together. God has truly blessed our marriage! Todd is working at the Anaheim Hills Golf Club as a manager. He works with all the big events (weddings, etc.) and enjoys golfing anytime he wants. I have justed started school for the last time and will be finally graduating in May. I teach at Catch the Vision as a ballet teacher, and I still work at Shenandoah on the weekends. So lame that I am still a server, isn't restaurant work suppost to be temporary? That's us for now!
